What is Eco - Washing Ball ?

The Eco - Washing Ball is made out of plastic that you put into your washing machine where they help to clean your clothes during washing. Eco - Washing Balls are meant to be used as a substitution for washing detergent.

Inside of the plastic shell of the Eco - Washing Ball are lots of smaller pellets usually made out of ceramic. The basic ingredients that were used in the original formula of the wash balls were minerals, which is the same minerals that are used in laundry detergent except they add toxic ingredients like Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, optimisers, brightners, enzymes, artificial fragrances and bleach. Today, the reformulated formula used in the Eco - Washing Balls are SLS free and readily bio-degradable and environmentally safe . The general idea behind this is that, the combination of negative ion , far infrared ion , germproof ion , strong and low basicity ion mix in these pellets assist in the release of "ionized oxygen" during washing. This reportedly raises pH levels of the water to soften the fabric, which in turn allows the water to penetrate the fabric and lift the grime that help to clean the dirt of your clothes.

Newer Eco - Washing Balls can be used for more than 1000 times, so if you wash your clothes every day you could use them for almost three years. Off course, if you wash your clothes once or twice a week this period is greatly extended.

Best of all, your Eco - Washing Ball is good for up to 1500 washes!

Before using your Eco - Washing Ball for the first time, please clean out your washing machine to rinse out all residue detergent. Do this by adding a cup of vinegar into your machine and doing two full wash cycles (without any clothes in the machine) on a hot wash cycle. Then, do a rinse cycle with hot water.

Instruction for use:
1. Separate white and coloured clothes as they need to be washed separately.

2. Place dirty clothes in the washing machine and place the Eco - Washing Ball in the machine
with the dirty clothes.

3. Wash clothes according to normal operational programs.Do not wash your clothes above
60° C.

4. One Eco - Washing Ball can wash a load of 5kgs clothes at a time. Do not exceed machine
wash load capacity.

5. You may need to pre-treat heavy stains with a stain remover before washing.

6. You may add fabric softener to your wash if you like.

7. Once the wash cycle is complete, remove the clean clothes as well as the Eco - Washing Ball
from the machine. Allow the Washing Ball to dry naturally before the next wash.
